Tuition covers the morning work cycle from 8:00 – 11:45 a.m.

Scholarships: A 10% scholarship on tuition only for the second child and each additional child in a family is automatically awarded and applied to tuition invoices, based on the payment plan selected.   This excludes cases in which one child is in a district sponsored program.  Additional tuition assistance may be awarded, subject to eligibility and availability. Please refer to the Scholarship Application Process 16-17.

Daily Schedule

7:00-7:50 a.m. Before School Care– offered in the gym for Children’s House students. Park in the lower lot and enter through the lower doors.
7:55-8:00 a.m. Transition– Classroom Assistants will bring students from the Gym to their Children’s House Classroom.
8:00-8:25 a.m. Assisted Drop-Off– provided under the portico. If you arrive after 8:25 a.m., then park in the lot and walk your child into the classroom.
8:30-11:15 a.m. Morning Work Cycle– includes introduction and use of Montessori materials in the classroom. Lessons in grace, courtesy and social skills are part of the snack time routine.
11:15 – 11:45 a.m. Transition to Playground– Children go outside every day unless it is raining or temperatures reach below 0 with windchill.
11:15- Noon Playground
11:45 a.m. Transition from Playground to Waiting Room for Assisted Pick-Up. This is the time when morning program children depart for home.
11:45 a.m.- Noon Assisted Pick-Up provided under the portico.
Noon -1:00 p.m. Lunch
1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Afternoon Work Cycle (Extended Day and 4K) includes introduction and use of Montessori materials in the classroom. Extended Day Children (5K) explore themes in further depth. Lessons in grace, courtesy and social skills are part of the snack time routine.
1:00-2:45 p.m. Nap Time If children do not fall asleep after a period of time, they will be invited to return to the classroom.
3:00 – 3:15 p.m. Transition from Afternoon Work Cycle/Nap to Waiting Room for Pick-Up Assisted pick-up provided under the portico.
3:00 – 5:45 p.m. After School Care– Children are provided snack, alternative activities/materials, arts & crafts, outside or gym time.
Extracurricular classes are scheduled from 3:30-4:30.

Note: All students will participate in Spanish and Music classes each week. The Extended Day students will participate in Art and Gym.

Schedule & Cost for Before/After Care
Wrap around care is offered in blocks of time for families needing additional child care outside of the work cycle. If care is needed on an occasional basis, use the Occasional or Drop in Care Form 16-17 . Please contact the school 24 hours in advance to make sure space is available. If care will be needed on an ongoing basis, please use the Before and After Care 16-17. The fees are as follows:

7:00 – 8:00 a.m. $7.00 per day
Noon – 1:00 p.m. (Lunch) $7.00 per day
1:00 – 3:00 p.m. (Nap) $14.00 per day
3:00 – 4:30 p.m. $10.50 per day
4:30 – 5:45 p.m. $8.75 per day
