Director of Students (Interim)

Roles and Responsibilities 2026-27 Academic Year


Position Purpose

The Director of Students provides leadership and oversight for student support services, receives and holds student records, coordinates enrollment, coordinates special education services and student success initiatives. This position serves as a liaison among students, families, faculty, administration, outside agencies, and the School District of Waukesha to ensure that students receive appropriate support and opportunities to thrive within the Montessori environment.


The Director of Students works collaboratively with the Head of School, Director of Faculty and Staff, School Secretary, and faculty to promote student success, support family engagement, and strengthen school-wide systems and practices.


This position is an Interim position and requires a commitment for the 2026-27 school year.

Compensation

This is a salaried, 195 day position, with a salary starting range of $65,000 with adjustment possible based on experience and/or credentials.
